An annual Family Day for ESET employees, their partners and families, with plenty for the children to enjoy.

The brief is to give guests an outstanding experience, with creativity, production and technical delivery of the highest standard. The event took place over a full day in June 2024 at Elfo Club in Malinovo. Its aim is to strengthen the sense of community within the ESET family.

Something for every age

Employees and their families can choose from a wide range of attractions and competitions for all ages, from fairground rides and stage entertainment to great food and street food stalls. At ESET Family Day, everyone can find something they enjoy, whether they are a child or an adult.

The mix of attractions, competitions and other activities makes ESET Family Day a full day of fun for the whole family. A varied stage programme runs throughout the day, catering for children of different ages.

While the event is designed primarily with children in mind, it is also popular with employees who come without children. That is why the programme includes activities for adults, such as workshops and talks. The youngest visitors have an entire zone of their own, too.

An Olympic theme for 2024

With the Olympic Games setting the tone for 2024, we made them the theme of that year's event.

We opened with our own Olympic ceremony, complete with gymnasts and a flaming torch. After completing the Olympic challenges, every child received a medal and had their moment on the winners' podium.

The theme carried through into dedicated areas across the site, including an Olympic village.

Production, logistics and safety

The scale of the event, the risks posed by the weather and the need to keep visitors safe all make it a demanding production.

We also focused on keeping the activities and competitions running smoothly, so that guests would not miss out and would leave with happy memories of the day.

A fresh challenge every year

We have been organising this event for ESET for several years, and each edition brings a fresh challenge. Getting the logistics and production right is essential, but creativity matters just as much.

Keeping such a broad range of guests entertained, from very young children to adults, can be quite a challenge. So can coming up with a theme and bringing it to life in a way that guests immediately recognise and connect with.

What we enjoy most is finding playful, unexpected details and activities that fit the theme and give each year's event its own character.

Because the event follows the same overall format each year, the challenge is to keep bringing something new. Something that gives visitors a pleasant surprise.

Feedback from participants has grown more positive year on year, reflected in the steadily increasing number of guests attending the event.
