Our Own Projects Shield Us From Client Budget Earthquakes
On the brink of a new global recession, shaped by more than just the current geopolitical situation, we have to look at the future of our business in a broader context. Slovakia’s unstable economic environment is already putting pressure on practically every part of the economy. This uncertainty, and a generally gloomy outlook, led us to a strategic decision: to diversify our income through projects of our own.
Back in 2020, we launched Tyršák, which we see not only as an event platform but also as a way to stabilize our income in turbulent times. Most event agencies depend entirely on client budgets and the decisions that come with them – things agencies have essentially no way of influencing. We run Tyršák as our own year-round event platform, with a program seven days a week: open-air cinema, concerts, fitness classes, travel cinema, and live talks and interviews that are also turned into podcasts.

Our clients also love it as a venue for corporate events and product promotions. In winter, we run Christmas markets, so visitors who have grown fond of the atmosphere at Tyršák can enjoy it outside the summer season too. As part of this diversification, we plan to launch a new nationwide project in 2024 with strong potential for brand building in the regions. Client projects and events, of course, remain a key pillar of our business. Given all of the above, we expect clients to place even more emphasis on getting value for their money. Thanks to our long-standing, strong relationships with clients, however, we remain optimistic – and next year we plan to grow our team with new hires who will help us deliver both our own and our clients’ projects.
